Always bare in mind all those crappy infomercial products us the same strategy. Testing performance in a lab means very little in the actual performance while riding.

well cable brakes will heat up a hell of a lot quicker then hydros ever will. The heat produced from braking with a cable will greatly reduce braking. cable and hydros each have their place, no sense in comparing apples to oranges.
